OFF SEASON TRAINING

Fall ball is now over in the inter-mountain west.  Hope that you had a great year.  Baseball for those who really get after it can run from early March through October.

Now it is time for your off season training.  This is the time when champions are made.  If you are going to get to the next level, your regime must consist of the following:

1) Technique - Drills for pitching, catching, fielding and hitting.
2) Speed & Agility - Drills to improve straight speed and lateral movement.  This is very important to college coaches and professional scouts.
3) Strength - Specific lifts for baseball players.  Important to maximize bat speed and to work the core, legs, and lastly a wide variety of muscles in the arms.  Many careers are cut short due to arm injury... injuries that often times could have been prevented.

Please contact Seth to schedule private sessions throughout this off season.  Seth creates individual plans specifically for each athlete.

FALL BALL

Many players who aspire to play high school, college or professional baseball are now playing and training year round.  Fall baseball is great because the weather is cooler and players who are playing are the ones that take the game seriously.  Seth is ready to work with your player in a private session or in small groups or team clinic settings.  The drills you will learn will be things that you can practice all winter long so that you are ready to go full speed in the spring.  Call, text or email to arrange an appointment.

Omaha

Five players Seth has worked with over the past few years had an awesome experience recently when they traveled to Omaha Nebraska to play in a tournament held at the same time as the College World Series.  They played against some tough competition and got to attend some of the college games.  Baseball can lead to many opportunities.  Work hard, practice correct technique, be a good teammate and have fun!

CAMP UPDATE

Hey everyone, there is still room in both sessions of the camp starting June 11.  Please spread the word around.  It is fun for the players to be with boys they know but it is also good for them to meet new players.  Thanks for your support!

SATISFYING PRIVATE LESSONS

Seth has been working with a very determined young ball player who has had a miserable year at the plate.  His swing was a mess and his confidence was shot.  After two private sessions he is smiling, his eagerness and enthusiasm has returned and he is crushing the ball up the middle.  In fact, Seth took a hard one off of the shin and has the bruise to prove it.  The youngster is so looking forward to his games this Saturday and Monday.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

A special focus of Seth's is maximizing athletic performance through improving athleticism.  Seth earned a BS degree in Exercise Science with a Minor in Coaching.  Through his education and personal experience, Seth has learned that you can only go so far on natural talent and ability.  Extraordinary players take their game to the next level through proper training in nutrition, strength, coordination, balance, agility and cardiovascular improvement.  Seth utilizes numerous proven drills and techniques to help athletes improve in each area.  High School and college coaches are looking for dedicated winners.  If you invest in yourself and back it up with work, you will catch the eye of a coach.  This training is for athletes in any sport.

PRIVATE LESSONS

If you have specific areas or techniques that you want to improve, private lessons are a great choice.  Seth will discover your individual strengths and weaknesses.  You can work for an hour on one thing or cover a lot of areas.  It is up to you.  Seth will work you hard so be ready.  Pitching isn't taught in the camps so if you are a pitcher this is a terrific way for you to get specific instruction.  Seth learned amazing pitching techniques from attending camps featuring the legendary Greg Maddox that he would like to share with you.  If it is hitting you need to focus on, you will spend the hour hitting.  Seth bases his hitting instruction on the techniques that have made Albert Pujols an MVP and World Series Champion.

INSTRUCTIONAL CAMPS

In past years participants have really enjoyed Seth's instructional camps.  This summer Seth is hosting three camp sessions.  The camps are held in small group settings (12 participants or less) so each player receives significant personal attention.  These camps are for players who love the game and who have a desire to improve.  Camps run Monday - Thursday for two weeks (8 sessions).  Following are specifics:

INSTRUCTION

CONDITIONING AND BASE RUNNING - Proper warm up techniques.  Prepare to play and avoid injury.  Learn to improve agility and speed.  Situational base running.  Proper sliding methods.  Leading off.  Reading the pitcher's pickoff move.  Correct footwork.

FIELDING - Catching and Throwing.  Instruction for infielders, outfielders and catchers.  As you play at higher levels the game speeds up.  Mechanics, techniques and drills necessary to excel.

HITTING - Learn how to pick up the baseball out of the pitchers hand.  Read the rotation to recognize the pitch.  Hitting involves balance and timing.  Learn how to load for maximum power.   Learn to hit to all fields.  Bunting.  Real game situations.

Each participant will receive a t-shirt, written evaluation and photo.  Ask about family and team discounts.
